About us and getting a quote

What is Newham Rubbish Removals?

A local, licensed rubbish and waste-clearance crew for the London Borough of Newham (E6–E20). We clear household junk, houses and flats, offices, gardens, builders’ waste, furniture and appliances, single items and fly-tips.

How do I get a quote?

Tell us what needs clearing, roughly how much and the address, through the quote form. We’ll come back with a clear price for the load. No prices are guessed before we understand the job.

Which areas do you cover?

The whole borough — Stratford, East Ham, Forest Gate, Plaistow, Canning Town, Beckton, Manor Park, Custom House and the rest of the Newham E-postcodes (E6, E7, E12, E13, E15, E16, E20).

Do you charge more than a skip?

Often less, for the right job — you pay for what we actually take away, not a fixed skip you hire, fill yourself and pay a permit for. We give you a clear quote once we know what’s involved.

How it works

On the day

Do I need to move the rubbish outside or bag it first?

No — we do the lifting and loading from wherever it is: a top-floor flat, a back garden, a garage or a yard. Just point out what’s going.

Can you take just one item?

Yes — single-item collections are common. A sofa, a mattress, a fridge — book the one piece and we’ll come and take it.

Can you come the same day?

Often we can, depending on the crews’ schedule — just ask. We won’t promise a guaranteed time we can’t keep, but same-day and next-day clearances are a big part of what we do.

What can’t you take?

A few things need special handling — certain hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals or clinical waste. Tell us what’s in the pile and we’ll let you know if anything needs a different route; the rest we clear.

Do you clear the mess up afterwards?

Yes — we sweep up after ourselves and leave the space clear. That’s part of the job.

Licensing & disposal

Where the rubbish goes

Are you a licensed waste carrier?

Yes — we’re registered to transport waste and move it under a proper duty of care, to licensed facilities, with a waste transfer note where you need one. See our licensed waste carrier page.

What happens to the rubbish?

We sort what we collect for reuse, recycling or proper disposal — furniture reused or donated where possible, green waste composted, rubble recycled, appliances handled as WEEE — and only what’s left goes for disposal. Nothing is fly-tipped.

Do you recycle a high percentage?

We divert as much from landfill as we sensibly can, but we won’t print a headline recycling percentage we can’t stand behind. Ask us and we’ll tell you honestly how a particular load is handled.

Can I get paperwork for the clearance?

Yes — waste transfer documentation is available where you need it, which is useful for businesses, landlords and managing agents keeping records.

Still have a question?

Ask us directly, or send your clearance details and we’ll answer in the quote.
